A new site offering Texas defensive driving is now available to Texas drivers

There is a new site on the Internet where Texas drivers can participate in a Texas defensive driving course completely online. The name of the site is Texasdrivesafe.com. They offer a completely self paced six hour course that is approved by the Texas Education Agency for traffic ticket dismissal and insurance discounts (most often 10% for 3 years) with most insurance providers. The site is a one stop shop for all of your defensive driving course needs. If the court requires you to get your driver record they can do that for you, if you need assistance with how Texas defensive driving works, they have 24/7 customer support, or if you need express delivery of your certificate that is also available.

As mentioned the course is 6 hours long as is required by Texas law, but the beauty of taking the course online is that you can login and out as your schedule allows. Any page that you log out from the course will pick back up at that same page the next time you log back in. There is some reading, some animations / student participation exercises, and video segments. Once you complete a certificate of completion will be mailed to you that you can take to the court for traffic ticket dismissal purposes as well as a copy to turn into your insurance agent if your auto insurance provider offers defensive driving discounts.

Hopefully you aren't participating in a defensive driving course very often, but once you have taken this course, you will see that it is the most simple and convenient way to take a Texas defensive driving course.
